Abstract

The plasma flow control technique is becoming one of the most promising methods because of its simple structure, fast response, no moving mechanical parts and so on. The present work discusses the plasma synthetic jet actuator (PSJA), one kind of plasma actuators. Detailed phase-lock schlieren measurement was conducted to study the physical evolution process of the structures inside a single plasma synthetic jet actuator driven by a high voltage nanosecond pulse. Besides the experimental measurement, the numerical simulation is also conducted to study the detailed characteristics of the PSJA. For the purpose of practical use, the three dimensional PSJA is designed and the interaction of the compressed waves and jets induced by each actuator is studied by schlieren measurement. Then, both the experimental measurement and simulation are used to study the PSJA flow control mechanisms over a supersonic wedge. It is found the compression wave is the main reason which affects the oblique wave and boundary layer of the supersonic wedge model.

报告人简介:

    耿玺,讲师,2016年获南京航空航天大学流体力学博士学位。长期从事实验空气动力学研究,主要的研究方向为流动控制、大迎角非定常空气动力学和流动测量技术。先后主持了国家自然基金(青年科学基金)、江苏省自然科学基金(青年基金项目)、中国博士后科学基金和江苏省博士后科研资助计划。目前已在多个国内外期刊上发表了学术论文。
