报告内容摘要:

With the reversible cross-linking feature, vitrimer-like polymers can be utilized to achieve some special functions that are difficult to be realized by conventional polymers, which are either thermo-plastic or thermoset. In this speech, a commercial polyurethane (PU) based polymer is presented to show how we can systematically characterize the vitrimer-like behavior of a polymer based on the shape memory effect (SME). Then, a few different approaches are proposed to either macroscopically or microscopically reshape (both outside and inside) vitrimer-like polymers and their composites. Based on the characterized shape memory performance of this commercial vitrimer-like polymer, a couple of ways for permanent and/or temporary reshaping are demonstrated. It is concluded that the vitrimer-like behaviour adds in an addition dimension not only to reshape our design, but also to bring forward many potential applications, which traditional polymers, either thermo-plastic or thermoset, have some difficulties to deal with.

报告人简介:

王韬熹,南京航空航天大学航空学院讲师。2013年本科毕业于南京航空航天大学飞行器设计与工程专业,20195月博士毕业于新加坡南洋理工大学,并于同年9月入职南京航空航天大学交叉研究院。学术方面主要从事形状记忆聚合物力学性能及其工程应用等方面的研究,近五年发表国内外学术论文14,包括11SCI期刊论文,其中第一作者4篇。
